Nelly goes to vist Wuthering Heights. Edgar, however refues to send Isabella a token of forgivness.At Wuthering Heights Nelly barley gets to see Isabella at all . Instead , Heathcliff asks after Catherine's condition and then asks nelly o help him see her adding taht were he in Edgar's place he would never stop Catherine frome seeing someone she wanted to see.
Nelly refues to help Heathcliff who threatens to hold Nelly prisoner at Wuthering Heighs and go to the grange along. Nelly gives in and agress to carry a leter to catherine from Heathcliff.
Analysis :
Class is a big effect as Edgar wont forgive Isabella because he holds her as a woman , to a different standard.
